VW Campervan Meeting

Kirchzarten, Germany 

Campervan enthusiasts from all over Baden-Württemberg organise this annual meeting at a camping site in Freiburg. Over 340 campervans and 1,200 visitors are expected.

5 – 8 May
Campervan Meeting Netherlands

Zwartemeer, The Netherlands

Around 240 campervan owners from Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands, and Switzerland will come together here. The celebration is to be held in a large marquee and around a cosy campfire.


This brightly coloured ceramic box makes saving a lot of fun. There is a stopper on the bottom to get your money out. The campervan is also available in colours other than the flower power design.

26 – 29 May
Campervan Meeting


More than a hundred fans will meet up at Corpus Christi in the midst of the Kaufungen Forest. Pure nature, fresh smoked trout, and the opportunity to go on some great excursions such as the Sleeping Beauty Castle Sababurg are a stone’s throw away.

27 – 29 May


Campervan fans will get together in the Swiss Valais to enjoy a summery raclette and barbecue evening. The Alpine panorama provides the perfect backdrop.

23 – 26 June
Midsummer Campervan

Fehmarn, Germany

As well as some 800 lovingly restored campervans, the beach festival promises an adventure for the whole family. The agenda includes child care, corrals, BBQs, and a big midsummer party. 

1 – 3 July
Camper Jam

Weston Park, England 

The rock ’n’ roll factor is huge, thanks to lots of really good live bands. Popular with families: the “cooking in a camper” competition.

8.–10. Juli
Balkan Bus Meeting

Loutra Lagkada, Greece 

This festival is always held in a different country. Campervan crazies will meet up for the sixth edition in a picturesque area not far from Thessaloniki.


The original Volkswagen T1 Campervan cook book has 162 inspiring pages with 68 tasty recipes that you can cook for yourself in the campervan. And everywhere else too, of course.

22 – 24 July
VW Campervan Meeting

Kals, Austria

This meeting is held every two years in the wild and romantic scenery of East Tyrol. The highlight is driving in convoy along the Grossglockner High Alpine Road to Lucknerhaus, navigating an altitude difference of almost 700 metres. 

29 – 31 July
Super VW Fest 

Le Mans, France 

This weekend will see more than 1,200 campervans, Beetles and buggies transform France’s most famous racetrack into a car museum.

19 – 21 August
VW Bus Festival Berlin 


All generations will be celebrating together on a former airfield in Jüterbog near Berlin. Those who like it quiet should park in the family section. Party goers enter the party area at their own expense. Pets are also welcome. 


This case offers plenty of storage space and great interior organization thanks to the net compartment, partition, and pack straps. The rolling case is the permitted cabin luggage size and comes equipped with a TSA combination lock. 

8 – 11 September
Campervans on Rügen


Fine sandy beaches, dunes, and a fresh breeze await campervan fans planning to visit the Juliusruh Baltic resort in autumn. The emphasis is less on parties here and more on joint family excursions around Rügen and basically hanging out together. 

9 – 11 September

Malvern, England 

Thousands of vehicles and numerous colourful models can be found at the gigantic “Three Counties Showground”. This campervan meeting is renowned for its illustrious party programme and huge spare-parts and accessories market.

16 – 18 September
VW Bus Meeting Wietzendorf  


This festival is a gathering of superlatives: hundreds of campervans from all model series are expected with fans travelling from all over Europe. The agenda includes a spare-parts market, 5-star location, a big tent party, and a big campfire.

The best campervan adventures ... 

... are experienced by fans all over the world. One being Pit Vaas, whose greatest pastime is driving up the Schauinsland mountain in the Black Forest in his cream white and tornado red T1 together with his family so he can take to the heavens in his fixed-wing aircraft.
